Who we are

Credintel Technologies Private Limited provides CredIntel CRM. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and the workspace you belong to.
• Billing data: billing name, address, GSTIN and payment records. Card and bank details are handled by our payment partners and never stored by us.
• Usage data: sign-in times, IP address and technical logs, used for security and to fix problems.
• Customer Data: the records, files and emails you store in the Service. For this data you are the controller and we act only on your instructions.

Why we use it

To provide and secure the Service, bill you, send service emails (invitations, password resets, reminders, invoices), provide support and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data or use Customer Data for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run the Service, under confidentiality obligations: hosting and backup providers, our email delivery provider, and payment processors (such as Razorpay and Stripe). If you connect Google or Microsoft accounts, we access them only as you authorise. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.

Email account connections

If you connect a Gmail or Outlook mailbox, we read only replies to emails you sent from the Service, to show them on the right record. Other messages are not opened or stored, and you can disconnect at any time. Our use of data from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Cookies

We use only cookies and browser storage that are necessary to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We do not use advertising cookies.

Storage, security and retention

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to authorised staff, and backups are encrypted. We keep account data while your account is active. Deleted data is removed from backups as they expire (within 30 days). Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, or nominate someone to act for you. Workspace administrators can export or erase data themselves under Settings → Privacy & data. Otherwise write to support@credintel.in.

Grievance officer

Changes

We will post changes here and, for significant ones, tell account owners by email.
